A lot of people love to travel, but let’s face it, not everyone has the time or bandwidth to plan out their trips. That’s where we come in! We help to design custom trip itineraries to meet your unique interests and budget needs.
Based on information you share with us during a discovery process, involving an electronic intake questionnaire and ongoing conversations as needed, we research destinations, activities, accommodations, and transportation to fit your trip profile, then provide a proposal outlining customizable tiered package options.
Once you’ve selected your preferred options, a finalized itinerary containing all the necessary details of your trip will be provided to you, along with an invoice for services rendered.
You may be wondering how our consulting services differ from what other “Travel Agents” do; let us try to explain. Travel Agents typically work off of “commissions” and many operate under a Host Agency, this means they receive a payout percentage from the companies they book you with which is split between them and their Host. While there is nothing wrong with this, there are a few things about that structure that we just don’t love: a) unless working under a Host Agency, getting access to booking software can be prohibitively expensive, b) using a booking software can limit your options (i.e. Hotels versus AirBnbs), c) if working with a Host, your clients aren’t your clients and your company relationships aren’t your relationships, they are the Host Agency’s, d) we can’t help but wonder if higher commissions can incentivize Agents to max your budget and affect which companies they recommend versus solely looking at what they believe you’d enjoy the most (*We are not saying this is always the case and of course Agents want you to enjoy the trip so you book with them again, we’re just saying, this potential conflict doesn’t exist under our current fee structure), e) services and fees can vary by Agent; some only offer booking/limited advice, others may charge additional fees for planning. In our opinion, it’s the planning that takes the most time and is the better value add, so that’s what we offer.
Of course, there are pros and cons to both approaches. Booking Agents may have access to better deals and packages, but on the other hand, those may not provide a very local, unique, or authentic experience. If your primary motive is getting help with bookings and you’re okay with a more one-size fits all approach, a booking service is probably more what you’re looking for. If your aim is to save yourself some planning hours and are hoping for a more customized itinerary, then we’d be thrilled to work with you and encourage you to request a quote to begin a conversation!

We provide you with options within your budget while still allowing you to customize your trip to your preferences. Your initial proposal will outline your trip options in a tiered pricing structure, from there you can mix and match to suit your needs.
Basic
The most budget friendly option will generally include less luxurious accommodations, potential for more or longer layovers, public transport over private drivers, and fewer tours/excursions.
Intermediate
A good compromise can be to decide which items are most important to you; for example are you willing to pay more for a direct flight to have your second choice accommodation or take a bus over the train?
Top Tier
YOLO. Have your cake and eat it too. Take the direct flight, have the best accommodations, and soak in all the experiences you can.
